Although cooking classes do not include a 12-step program, Kitchen Conservatory does help students get better acquainted with cooking delicious treats from the sea. Once a month, Phil Nekic from Bob’s Seafood shows up with a cooler of fresh fish. Then, one of our favorite local chefs makes magic and turns sea creatures into succulent sensations.
Ivy Magruder, the original chef for Eleven Eleven Mississippi and currently the chef at Vin de Set, arrives this Wednesday, May 9, 6:30 to 9 pm to create delicious plates of food with Phil’s cooler of fresh fish. Chef Ivy is utterly charming and will happily resolve any fear of fish as you enjoy his creative creations.
