allclad-roticombo-501631_t.jpgAt Kitchen Conservatory, we love Thanksgiving. We love to give thanks for the bounty of wonderful and delicious foods available for our table. Yes, we can help you with all the Thanksgiving equipment needed for the big meal.

The best turkey roaster is on a special sale — $159.95 (regular value is $330). Made by All-Clad, this roasting pan is large enough to hold a 25-pound turkey and very heavy-duty so it can be used on top of the stove for making gravy. It’s time to upgrade from the disposable foil pans, which usually bend when full of a hot turkey. Plus the All-Clad roaster (like all All-Clad pans) are so easy to clean up. We are always amazed how even burnt All-Clad pans can be restored to shine so quickly. This roaster comes with the best roasting rack — a nonstick U-shaped rack with large handles. The U-shape racks hold turkeys better than the V-shape racks (and we sell the All-Clad U-shape racks separately, also).

Here are the other essential kitchen equipment that I use every Thanksgiving:

Turkey Lifter (this essential tool is how to get the turkey out of the roasting pan and on to the platter).

Gravy Separator (pour all the pan juices into the separator, let sit, then use the wonderful drippings in the gravy, but not the fat). Yes, we also have available Turkey Stock base to supplement your delicious gravy.

Potato Ricer (makes the smoothest, fluffiest mashed potatoes).

Meat Thermometer (I love the Dual-Sensor Meat Probe which beeps when the turkey temperature is reached — no more dry turkey breast meat!)

Paper Turkey Frills (I have always put the cute frilly pants on the turkey legs for presentation).

Emile Henry Pie Plate (the unglazed bottom of this beautiful pie plate ensures a crisp bottom crust).

Cream Whipper (Defuse any family tensions with this fun party tool!)

For extra help in preparing for Thanksgiving, join us in a pie-baking class on the Wednesday before from 12 to 4 pm. Each participant will take home three pies to serve the next day: apple, pumpkin, and pecan. Register Now.

On the day before Thanksgiving, we will offer while-you-wait knife sharpening ($3 per knife) from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Be prepared with a better edge for the big meal!
