Welcome and welcome back:

  • Sean Price is teaching a Date Night grilling class on July 27
  • Adam LaViolette will be teaching sushi with his first class on August 5
  • Faiza Muhambi is teaching Swahilian cuisine on August 9
  • Joe Herbert is back in St. Louis, and we are delighted to have him back in the kitchen teaching a variety of his popular classes, starting with a sauce class on August 13
  • Maria Ines Goncalves is teaching two different types of cake decorating classes starting on  August 10, plus a Portuguese class on September 7
  • Andrew Guyton is teaching a Tex-Mex class on September 30

Children and Parent/Child Classes

Our classes for children plus our parent/child classes, Heir and a Parent, are very popular, and for the Summer, they have their own newsletter. A Day in the Kitchen

We offer an in-depth mastery of specific culinary art in our A Day in the Kitchen series of classes that are a 5-hour class and limited in size.

  • Fish and Seafood – meets early at Starrs to select fish
    • July 20 or October 19
  • Bread Basket
    • July 29 or October 1
  • Beef – This is a NEW class, and meets early at Baumann’s Fine Meats for a butchery demonstration and to select the cuts
    • August 9
  • French Pastry
    • September 15
  • Pasta Workshop
    • October 21
