Kitchen Conservatory loves to bring people together in the kitchen to create delicious food! We have been doing it for 35 years! Our cooking school is certainly the focal point of that mission, and we would like to introduce you to some of the faces that make up our spectacular Kitchen Conservatory family.
Barb Nack has been the Director of the Cooking School for fifteen exciting years. She has worked diligently to keep our kitchens running smoothly for cooking classes and private events, keeping our pantries stocked, managing the kitchen assistants, maintaining equipment, and doing many of the behind-the-scenes activities. Barb also teaches many classes in our kitchens and works in our retail store. Barb has recently stepped down from her managerial position to “semi-retire”, and will continue to teach classes and work in retail! A big thank you to Barb for playing such an important part in the success of our Cooking School!
Beth McEwen has taken over the duties of managing the kitchens and has been in this position since the first of the year. Beth keeps our kitchens and pantry stocked, well organized, and clean! Beth is always smiling, and you will see her often in the kitchen as an assistant helping our teachers and in the middle of the day making our kitchens more efficient with her skills!
Marianne Moore is now the Culinary and Events Director! Marianne has been teaching classes at Kitchen Conservatory since April, 2018, and we are delighted that she is stepping in to fill Barb’s big shoes kitchen clogs! Marianne is already eagerly testing out new equipment, making herself at home by sharing lots of great ideas and her expertise. We are excited for the future!
Please say hello to Barb, Beth, and Marianne when you see them in the kitchen!
