Fresh fish, cooked by Chinese style
Cookbook author Theresa Liu demonstrates cooking Chinese seafood using a variety of methods, including steaming, poaching, stir-fry and deep-fry. Theresa will choose the freshest catches of the day and a sample of some of the preparations are whole fish with sweet and sour sauce, crispy shrimp rolls, and steamed sea bass with wine sauce.
About the Instructor: Theresa Liu has taught cooking classes for twenty years. Her specialty is the food and culture of her native China, plus other Asian cuisines. As a reading specialist in the Parkway School District, Theresa has the ability to simplify and explain the foods of Asia, often with personal and cultural anecdotes. Here she teaches a class in a home.
