Everyone loves to cook when the weather is cold! Many of our most popular cooking classes are sold out, but these classes still have space available and should not be missed:
Sunday, January 30: Matt Herren, an extraordinary bread baker who uses natural leavening will share the secrets of his artisanal breads in a very special class. Take your bread baking to a new level in “Ready, Set, Dough.”
Saturday, February 5: Aromatic Indian foods, plus mango lassi, are on the flavorful South Indian menu by Nupur Kittur in “Lassi, Come Home.”
Saturday, February 12: Cassoulet with duck confit by chef Bernard Pilon. I will not miss tasting that delicious dish in “Party Hardy”!
Sunday, February 13: Armagnac is the very best brandy that the French produce. I cannot wait to taste armagnac-braised beef — plus three other soups — by Ben Poremba in “Take Stock in Soup.”
Monday, February 21: Chef Josh Galliano of Monarch is teaching how to make homemade root beer and ginger ale sodas in “Pop Culture.” Who knew you could make your own soda pop?
Monday, February 28: “Another Brownie Throwdown” led by Barb Nack is worth taking just for the unbelievably delicious caramel-chocolate-shortbread bars.
